" Before working with John, I struggled with creating a structured and effective workout routine. I felt lost with so many exercise options and didn’t know how to progress toward my goals efficiently. John changed that by designing a tailored program that was both comprehensive and easy to follow. He broke down each movement and explained why it was important, which made everything feel much more approachable and motivating. Through John’s guidance, I learned not only the correct techniques, he takes time showing the excercices detailed, but also how to stay consistent and track my progress. His approach is unique because he genuinely cares about his clients' constraints and growth, not just short-term results. John’s support has been a huge motivator for me. I would absolutely recommend John's services to anyone feeling unsure about their fitness journey. His expertise and passion make all the difference, and I'm grateful for the results I've seen with his help!"

The Three Elements of becoming Strong For Life:

1. Strength

Strength training is the foundation of our program. We’ll focus on efficient, high-intensity workouts that can be done at home or in the gym. The aim of training is to stimulate physical adaptations :

  • Strength gains
  • Muscle growth
  • Technique and skill development

Goal: Establish a sustainable training practice that you can iterate on for life without quitting. Because that’s how you change your life: by making changes - for life.

2. Recovery

Recovery is crucial for maximizing your training results. It’s about everything you do between workouts. We’ll explore various techniques and strategies that will enhance your recovery and minimize stress on your body. Our focus will be on developing sustainable habits that fit seamlessly into your life, such as:

  • Improving Sleep Hygiene
  • Using Active Recovery Methods
  • Improving daily Nutrition

Goal: Implement durable recovery habits that support your training and overall wellness.

3. Active Living

Fitness is not just about the gym. It’s about how you engage with life. We’ll discuss ways to incorporate movement into your daily routine, allowing you to build energy and vitality outside of structured workouts. Together, we’ll cultivate:

  • An active lifestyle that enhances your well-being
  • Habits that promote long-term health and happiness

FAQs:

How is Strong For Life different from other coaching programs?

Strong For Life is built on the principles of minimal effective dose training, with a focus on recovery. You’ll train efficiently, allowing time for life beyond the gym while still seeing great results. You will learn to use your newfound physical attributes to enhance your life - developing habits that make life worth living.

Do I need special equipment?

The more equipment you have access to, the better. There’s a reason almost all athletes use barbells. But we can work with whatever equipment is available to you. I’ve spent years training with nothing but rings and my bodyweight.

What if I’m busy during the next 3 months?

So am I. So is everyone. Consistency does not mean rigidity. You will have the opportunity to pause your coaching if necessary, to accommodate life circumstances like holidays, illness, busy work projects. I’m not here to nickel-and-dime you for your time. Likewise - I will also have the ability to pause the coaching. We’re doing this to amplify our lives, not to consume them.

Who is it for?

  • Those motivated to improve their fitness. We’ll work out smart and efficiently - but HARD. I’m here to guide you - only you can lift the weights.
  • Those with the will to change their lives for the better - but who haven’t yet found a durable method. Strength training is a great foundation for all life’s endeavors.
  • Adults with a beginner to intermediate level of strength.
  • High-quality people. I endeavor to bring positive vibes and enthusiasm to our every interaction. I want to enjoy this journey just as much as you.

Who is it NOT for?

  • Quitters. The work will be hard - but brief. But like anything of value, it only works if you show up and consistently do the work. If you want a 6-pack in 6 weeks, look elsewhere.
  • Those afraid of change. If you start your new training plan, stick to it for 4 sessions, get workout FOMO and go back to your old routine - you won’t learn anything of value. Change means doing things differently than you have before - and having the patience to see the results. This means having a bit of faith - and approaching with Beginner’s Mind.
  • Anyone afraid to push themselves. We will be taking sets to muscular failure. If you’re afraid of working that hard, I’m not the coach for you.
  • Anyone who isn’t ready to invest in themselves. Fitness is one of the highest ROI personal investments you can make: every dollar goes directly into your body, literally changing the way you experience and act with the world and your very quality of your life. But my time, like yours, is precious, and this isn’t a free service. If you’re not willing to invest now - I have plenty of free content on YouTube, X, my newsletter, and the 2 Hour Body program.
